Job Description
This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients on a 13-bed adult medical/surgical unit. The role includes developing and implementing total nursing care through assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care plans. The Registered Nurse will provide leadership by collaborating with ancillary nursing staff and other members of the healthcare team to uphold professional nursing standards in a clinical setting.

Qualifications
- Minimum Years of Experience: Less than 1 year
- Required Certifications:
- BLS/BCLS
- NIHSS
- Previous medical/surgical experience: 6 months required
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Implement nursing interventions and evaluate outcomes.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain effective communication with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice.
- Care for a diverse patient population, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
