Vascular Access Team Nurse

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Access Team Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in ultrasound-guided intravenous (IV) placement, and while experience with Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICC) is preferred, it is not required.

Key Responsibilities

Perform ultrasound-guided IV placements with accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement vascular access plans.
Monitor and assess patient responses during and after procedures.
Educate patients and families regarding vascular access procedures.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of all procedures and patient interactions.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Experience with ultrasound-guided IV placement is required.
PICC experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to work every other weekend.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
