Job Description
This position involves working primarily on the Cardiac unit with additional responsibilities in various Med-Surg areas, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Respiratory, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders. The selected candidate will be required to work 36 hours per week on the night shift from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., including every other weekend.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care primarily on the Cardiac/Telemetry unit.
- Occasionally float to other Med-Surg areas as needed.
- Monitor telemetry readings and ensure patient safety.
- Complete telemetry competency on the first day of assignment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience required.
- Proficient in reading telemetry.
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Current Epic EMR proficiency; must be clearly documented.
Additional Information
Holiday coverage is required for this position.
