Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to a diverse patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics.
  • Circulate in the operating room while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Administer conscious sedation as needed and monitor patient responses.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Utilize unit systems such as Pyxis and Epic for medication management and documentation.

Qualifications

Compliance and Orientation

Full compliance is required before starting the position. Failure to meet compliance requirements will result in a delayed start of up to two weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. The number of Non-Billable Orientation Hours will be determined by the length of the contract.

Clinical Screening

Candidates will undergo a clinical screening process to assess clinical fit. If the candidate passes the screening and meets the necessary guidelines, they will be forwarded to the hiring manager for final decision-making.

Additional Notes

  • RTO (Requested Time Off): Maximum of 7 days.
