Job Summary

The Registered Nurse will provide patient care in a fast-paced, high-volume environment encompassing Med/Surg Telemetry and Emergency Room border roles. This position requires the ability to manage a diverse range of patient diagnoses, including complex admissions from the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care to patients within the Med/Surg IMC and ED border settings.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with established nursing protocols and standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Float between ED borders, extenders to Med/Surg Telemetry, and IMC units as needed.
• Respond effectively to changing patient conditions and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate and updated patient records.

Shift Details

This position requires working 3x12-hour night shifts from 19:30 to 08:00. Every other weekend and holiday work is mandatory as per the schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant nursing role; first-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the respective state.
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and CPI.
• Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:6.
• Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment with varying patient volumes (10 to 40 borders daily).
