This position involves utilizing specialized equipment that emits high-frequency sound waves to create internal images (sonograms or ultrasounds) of a patient's body for medical diagnosis and treatment. Sonographers work closely with physicians to assess and identify medical conditions, playing a vital role in patient care.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations of patients, focusing on obstetric and gynecologic care.
• Ensure high-quality imaging results for accurate medical assessment.
• Collaborate with physicians to discuss sonographic findings and assist in diagnosis.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Document and report findings in a clear and accurate manner.
• Educate patients about procedures and provide comfort during examinations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sonographer.
• Registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

Work Environment

This role guarantees 36 hours per week and involves a rotating call schedule, providing flexibility while meeting the needs of the department.
