Description
The Occupational Therapist will provide skilled services in compliance with state and federal regulations and facility guidelines. This role involves evaluating patients, developing treatment and discharge plans, and delivering therapy aimed at enhancing independence in daily living skills.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients according to physician orders and referrals.
- Develop and regularly update individualized treatment and discharge plans.
- Accurately document services in a timely manner.
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) following practice acts and facility policies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and engage with patients' families.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT/OTD).
- Active state Occupational Therapy license (or ability to obtain).
- Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills.
