Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Vascular Sonographer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in vascular ultrasound, with a preference for those who also have certification in echocardiography. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care within a vibrant vascular laboratory setting.

Schedule

This position will involve four 10-hour shifts per week, with weekend rotations occurring every fourth week. The working hours are from 07:00 to 17:30.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound examinations, including Doppler studies, on patients as directed by medical staff.
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment in accordance with safety standards.
• Ensure accurate patient records are maintained electronically using EPIC.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide the best patient outcomes.
• Educate patients regarding procedures and prepare them for examinations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience using EPIC electronic health record system.
• Certification in vascular ultrasound is required; dual certification in echocardiography is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
