Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. The role involves providing critical care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The position includes rotating shifts primarily during the day and every other weekend availability, with a requirement for holiday coverage.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop care plans.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care.
Monitor and evaluate patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the unit.

Qualifications

Current RN license in the state of practice.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong communication and critical thinking skills.

Additional Information

Shared housing is available for employees, and candidates must have their own transportation. Please note that pets and guests are not permitted in shared housing. A flu vaccination is required for all candidates.
