Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Clinical Dietitian to provide expert nutritional care and support within a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient nutrition and dietary management.
Hours
- Monday to Friday: 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' nutritional needs and develop individualized meal plans.
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and families.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate nutrition into patient care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of dietary interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest research and guidelines in clinical nutrition.
Qualifications
- Current and valid West Virginia Dietitian license required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of medical nutrition therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
