Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with experience in critical care. The ideal candidate must possess a background in titrating pressors and be prepared to handle a variety of patient care scenarios, including floating to different units.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with critical conditions.
• Titrate pressors effectively as required.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions, promptly addressing any changes.
• Float to various units including ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units as needed.
• Participate in day one pass/fail testing as well as onboarding assessments through Relias.

Work Schedule

This position requires working every other weekend, with day shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, and night shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Weekly start dates are on Mondays, with potential floating occurring in 4-hour blocks.

Qualifications

• Epic experience is required.
• BLS certification from AHA is mandatory; ACLS and NIHSS certifications are preferred.
• Prior experience in a Level 1 trauma unit is preferred; if no travel experience, Level 1 trauma experience is required.
• The candidate must have been separated from prior positions for a minimum of 6 months to be considered.
• Ratios will be between 1:3-5.

Reliable practice tests will be available for training purposes. Candidates should be adaptable and prepared for various responsibilities as part of their nursing duties.
