Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasonographer to join our team. The role will involve performing a variety of ultrasound procedures on patients while maintaining a high standard of care and professionalism.

General Job Duties

The Ultrasonographer will be responsible for the following:

• Conducting ultrasound procedures for the abdomen, GYN, OB, neonatal, superficial structures, and vascular assessments.
• Interpreting and documenting ultrasound images and findings accurately.
• Performing essential procedures including aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and intraoperative assessments.
• Collaborating with medical staff to develop treatment plans for patients.
• Maintaining equipment and ensuring a safe and clean working environment.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in an acute hospital setting.
• At least one contract or more of experience as a full-time sonographer.

Licensures and Certifications

• ARDMS certification in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB), and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, must be AHA certified.

Schedule Requirements

• 40-hour shift work with required holiday coverage.
• Floating to other units or departments as required.

Dress Code

Personal scrubs and healthcare professional attire are required.
