Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. This role will involve providing surgical care across various specialties, including GYN, General, Orthopedics, Orthopedic Spine, Neuro Spine, Urology, and Plastics.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to surgical patients in the Operating Room.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
- Adhere to all compliance and safety standards during surgical procedures.
- Participate in all aspects of patient care, from pre-operative to post-operative support.
- Assist in the maintenance of sterile environment and equipment readiness.
Work Schedule
- Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (06:45 - 17:15)
- Weekend: Every other weekend unless specified
Holiday Requirements
Travelers are expected to work the following major holidays if they occur during the assignment period:
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving/Black Friday
- Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
- New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays fall, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting.
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
- Clinical screening to determine fit will be conducted; candidates must pass to proceed to the hiring manager for final decision.
Compliance
Full compliance is required to start on time. Any delays due to non-compliance will result in a pushback of up to 2 weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.
Additional Information
- Floating within the facility and to nearby facilities may be required based on practice scope.
- RTO (Request Time Off): Maximum of 7 days.
