Job Description
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Intensive Medical Care (IMC) Nurse with expertise in transplant care. This position will involve providing high-quality patient care and participating in the advancement of transplant-related practices. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate and effective nursing care to patients in the IMC unit.
Shift Details
- Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours per week
- Shift timing: 0700 - 1930
- Weekend requirement: Every third weekend
- Holiday requirement: Must be available to work as scheduled
- Floating: Required as needed within skillset
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Intensive Medical Care (IMC)
- Transplant experience is mandatory
- First-time travelers with transplant experience are welcome to apply
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive assessments and interventions to patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as required
- Educate patients and families on health management and transplant procedures
