We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong nursing background and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment.

Shift Information

Day shifts available, with hours from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., including weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting.
• Current Wisconsin RN Licensure.
• General Certifications: PALS, BLS/BCLS, ACLS.
• Nursing Certifications: TNCC or TNS.
• NIHSS certification.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in patient care.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care.
• Documents patient care accurately and according to standards.
• Conducts assessments, plans, implements interventions, and evaluates patient care.
• Develops and follows individualized patient care plans according to physician directives and clinic policies.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives within the department or unit.
• Provides clinical expertise and support to other units and departments in alignment with the patient’s care plan.
• Employs critical thinking to enhance patient safety and experience; escalates issues as necessary.
• Engages in professional nursing activities, including peer review and unit practice improvement efforts.
