Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Telemetry

Position Information

Role: RN
Specialty: Med Surg Telemetry
Number of Openings: Varies
Shift: 0645-1915, 1845-0715
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: Varies
Call Requirements: 2 twelve-hour call shifts in a 13-week contract
Years of Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years Med/Surg Tele inpatient experience
Float Requirements: May be required to float to other med surg units as needed

Education & Certifications Required

Required Certifications: BLS
Education Modules: All through LMS, same for all travelers

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 56
Patient Ratios: RNs 1:4-5 Days, 1:5-6 Nights
Equipment: EMR: Epic

Hiring Profile

Must Have Skills/Experience: Med Surg Tele experience, Active ME License, BLS
Preferred Skillset/Experience: ACLS
Type of Patients on Unit: General Med Surg Telemetry
Personality Fit: Team player, hard working, accountable

Dress Code

Scrub Color: Any color, clean attire, professional
Unacceptable Attire: Hoodies, graphic shirts, open shoes
