Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel position. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on patients with cardiovascular conditions. The position requires a commitment to working night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with cardiovascular issues.
- Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs and overall health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience, particularly in cardiovascular care.
- Exceptional clinical skills and knowledge of cardiovascular conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
