We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team, specializing in Intermediate Care (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), and Medical-Surgical (MS) settings. This position may require floating between units and providing care across various medical departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care in IMC, PCU, and MedSurg units.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, managing dysrhythmias with appropriate interventions.
• Assist in managing patients with complex medical needs, including level boarders in the Emergency Department (ED) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to nursing protocols and guidelines while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in PCU, DOU, IMC, or Stepdown units.
• Completion of at least one travel assignment is required.
• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) is mandatory.
• Candidates must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and score 100% on lethal rhythms.

Work Schedule

This position includes night shifts with a 3x12-hour schedule. Flexibility for weekends and holidays is required based on hospital needs.

• Scrubs are not provided; the required color is Caribbean Blue.
• Clinicians will report to the staffing office for float assignments.
