• Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and quality patient-centered care in the operating room and other areas of perioperative services for diverse patient populations. Acting as a patient advocate, the RN will adhere to surgical nursing standards and maintain competencies in various nursing functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in and implement age-specific care and interactions.
• Complete departmental orientation and training.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members—including RN, LPN, NA, physicians, and ancillary services—in assessing patient and family needs.
• Conduct thorough head-to-toe assessments on all patients, with regular reassessments as per policy.
• Assess and manage pain effectively utilizing appropriate techniques.
• Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care based on patient assessments and care plans.
• Provide leadership by coordinating with nursing and patient care personnel to uphold professional nursing standards within the clinical setting.
