Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Step Down care. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care within the assigned unit scope of practice, adhering to established hospital policies, procedures, and nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high standards of practice.
• Participate in patient education to promote health and wellness.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, making necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Document patient care findings, interventions, and outcomes appropriately.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of step down experience.
• Strong proficiency in cardiac care.
• Willingness to float to different units when necessary.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Active nursing license in the state of Michigan at the time of submission.

Shift Information

Shift: 7 PM - 7:30 AM with a 36-hour guarantee. Every other weekend availability is required.
