Job Description:

The Radiology Operations Manager will oversee the administrative, informational, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, clinical performance compliance, and operational functions of all patient care sections within the department. This role is pivotal in managing staffing concerns, collaborating on resource utilization, resolving performance management issues, and overseeing clinical activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Radiation Oncology area and ensure ACR or ASTRO department accreditation.
• Ensure customer service standards are consistently practiced by all staff, emphasizing ownership, appearance, communication, commitment to coworkers, privacy, safety awareness, and comfort.
• Lead and supervise clinical teams, maintaining a high level of performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve patient care and operational efficiency.

Dress Code:

Personal scrubs of any color are required.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years experience in Radiation Therapy is required.
• Management and supervisory experience is required.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Radiation Oncology or Business Administration is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, both formal and informal, are required.
• Ability to use professional judgment and mature decision-making is required.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Experience in customer service and physician relations is essential.
• Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred.
• Travelers must have their own vehicle for this assignment.

Additional Requirements:

• All time-off requests must be included prior to submission; only a maximum of 5 days of time-off will be accepted.
• Travelers may not take all holidays off and must be available for key holiday periods.
• This role is not available to individuals residing within 50 miles of the facility.
