Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technologist to join our team. The position involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care in the areas of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology cases.
• Support procedures such as STEMI care, IABP, Impella, Tandem Heart, and Structural Heart interventions.
• Participate in interventional radiology, handling lines, drains, embolizations, and stroke thrombectomy procedures.
• Manage CRM device implants and collaborate with healthcare professionals throughout the process.
• Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies in accordance with operational standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrophysiology or related field.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required.
• Ability to float within similar units as needed.
• Preferred experience with CTO, peripherals, venous access, and rhythm interpretation.
• Familiarity with Philips X-Ray Systems and various atherectomy and thrombectomy devices.
• Experience with temporary LVAD support and McKesson for Cath Lab preferred.

Schedule Details

• Assignment length options: 13 or 26 weeks.
• 4x10 day shift with some Saturday shifts expected as part of the regular schedule.
• Guaranteed minimum of 70 hours per two weeks, with potential cancellation of one 10-hour shift during that period.
• On-call hours are minimal, typically from 6-8 PM if cases run late.

• Parking is provided at no cost.
• Charting is conducted using Epic software.
• Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must reside at least 50 miles away.
