Description

PACU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves providing exceptional care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in post-anesthesia care, demonstrating clinical expertise and a commitment to patient safety.

Shift Information

Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts
Day shifts: 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM
Includes one night shift per week: 9:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Weekend call: Saturday & Sunday

Scheduling Details

Each RN takes three 12-hour shifts in a 6-week schedule, consisting of:

Two shifts in the 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM timeframe
One shift in the 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM timeframe

Shifts can be completed over three different weekends or all within a single weekend, allowing for five weekends off if all shifts are consolidated.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a PACU or critical care environment required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory
Active PA or Compact nursing license required at the time of submission
