Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care in an operating room setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the operating room.
- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and comfort levels before, during, and after surgery.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control policies.
- Manage surgical instruments and equipment effectively.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in General Surgery.
- Previous travel experience is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is necessary.
- Flu vaccination is required for all employees.
- Willingness to take up to five (5) 12-hour call shifts during a six-week scheduling period.
- Flexibility for two Day 8-hour shifts and two Day 12-hour shifts as scheduled.
Additional Information
Scrubs will be provided for the duration of employment.
