Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (ER)

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in emergency situations while working collaboratively with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

Deliver nursing care in accordance with established protocols and practices.
Assess and monitor patient conditions effectively.
Develop and implement nursing care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Educate patients and families on their health conditions and care plans.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing, with a focus on emergency care.
Must have experience with travel nursing.
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
Must be available to work weekends, with scheduling flexibility based on unit needs.
EPIC experience is preferred.
No return to office (RTO) from February 8, 2027, to March 31, 2027, due to Epic Implementation.
May be asked to precept other nurses.

Shift Details

This position requires night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Patient Care Ratio

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4 during shifts.
