Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a travel assignment. The selected candidate will work in a dynamic, full-spectrum Emergency Department that serves a diverse patient population, including all age groups and varying acuity levels. This role also includes working with a locked behavioral health unit.

Shift Details

This position requires a commitment to a 4x12-hour shift schedule, with hours from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, and a 30-minute lunch break included in each shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency environment.
• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients of all ages.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient management and discharge planning.
• Manage patients in a locked behavioral health unit as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and utilize critical thinking to make rapid assessments.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license or eligibility for an emergency Massachusetts license.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, and PALS.
• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an Emergency Department RN.
• Completion of at least 1 prior travel assignment is preferred.
