Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry setting. This role involves providing care in a fast-paced, high-volume environment that includes a diverse range of patient diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care within the scope of practice for Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Emergency Border units.
• Maintain an average daily census of 10 to 40 patients, requiring efficient and effective nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Float between ED borders, extenders to Med/Surg/Telemetry, and IMC units as needed.
• Adhere to established protocols and standards for patient safety and quality care.
• Participate in required weekend and holiday shifts as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required; first-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Current RN license in the state of Maryland.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) is required.
• Ability to manage a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6.

Schedule

This role involves working three 12-hour shifts from 07:30 to 20:00, with every other weekend and holidays required as per the schedule.
