Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures in a fast-paced environment, focusing on patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Administer nuclear medicine and perform related diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Conduct nuclear stress tests, HIDA scans, VQ scans, biliary studies, lymph injections, and amyloid studies.
• Utilize GE equipment, specifically the SPEC CTG850, for high scan load procedures including outpatient and inpatient services.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Provide excellent patient care and maintain effective communication with patients and healthcare staff.
• Assist in training and mentorship of new staff members as needed.

Shift Details

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5x8 hour shifts from 07:30 to 16:00
• Weekend work required every other weekend, ensuring flexibility for on-call responsibilities.
• Floating may be required within the specialty and across other units and facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT Nuclear, ARRT Radiography, NMTCB certifications, and a valid state license are required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Comfortable working with adult and geriatric patient populations.
• Strong understanding of nuclear medicine procedures and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
