Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional therapy services in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines. This role involves evaluating patients, developing comprehensive treatment and discharge plans, and delivering effective therapy to enhance patients' independence in daily living skills.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients as per physician orders and referrals.
- Develop and regularly update individualized treatment and discharge plans.
- Document services accurately and in a timely manner.
- Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in accordance with practice acts and facility policies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and engage with families.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT/OTD).
- Active state Occupational Therapy license (or the ability to obtain one).
- Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills.
