Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Circulator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Circulator to join our team. This position is critical for ensuring optimal patient care during surgical procedures.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 06:30 - 15:00

Responsibilities

The Operating Room RN Circulator will be responsible for:

• Coordinating and delivering patient care in the operating room.
• Managing the surgical environment, ensuring it is safe, sterile, and prepared for procedures.
• Supporting the surgical team during operations by providing necessary tools and supplies.
• Communicating effectively with patients, families, and team members regarding patient needs and care plans.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an RN, specifically in an operating room setting.
• Proficiency in Orthopedics (total joints), General Surgery, and Obstetrics (C-sections).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS are mandatory.

Special Procedures/Equipment Experience

Experience with the following is preferred:

• Orthopedics
• Gynecology
• Podiatry
• General Surgery
• Endoscopy
• Labor and Delivery (C-sections)

Availability Requirements

Candidates should be willing to participate in the following:

• Call duty every 5th or 6th weekend.
• On-call one day during the week.
