Job Description

Under general supervision, the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) delivers physical therapy services by evaluating patient needs, determining goals, and developing treatment plans in accordance with the Maryland Physical Therapy Practice Act. The PTA will treat patients using appropriate therapeutic interventions, participate in team and interdisciplinary meetings, and demonstrate competency in treating multiple patient populations, including at least one high-risk patient population.

• Excellent customer service abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and efficiently schedule patient appointments.
• Proficiency in utilizing standardized tests to enhance documentation.
• Capacity to manage an average caseload in alignment with productivity standards.
• Proficient in treating at least two high-risk patient populations per hour.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) navigation.

Work Schedule

This position requires working Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a total of 40 hours guaranteed each week. There are no weekend or on-call duties associated with this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Active Maryland Physical Therapist Assistant license upon submission.
• Up-to-date flu vaccination record.
• Complete COVID vaccination record.
• Previous travel experience preferred.
• Acute care experience is a plus.

Compliance Statement
