Ultrasound Technologist

Shift Information

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30/5:00 pm - no call, weekends, or holidays.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience.
Current certifications:
- ARRT (R)
- ARDMS in OB, NE, BR, AB
- Current BLS/BCLS certification

Job Responsibilities

Independently perform ultrasound general examinations, including but not limited to Abdomens, OB, GYN, Breast, and Vascular/Arterials.
Evaluate, synthesize, and effectively communicate diagnostic information to referring physicians and radiologists.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all patients in the Imaging Department.
Troubleshoot ultrasound equipment and communicate issues to service engineers for repairs.
Perform general diagnostic radiology procedures as needed.
Cross-train into other imaging modalities as required.
Organize daily work schedule and perform related clerical duties, including scheduling patients.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and the healthcare team.
Follow established departmental procedures and protocols.

Additional Requirements

Annual flu shot is required; medical exemptions considered with physician documentation.
Masking will be required at all times while on premises during flu season.
