Description
We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in various surgical procedures and demonstrate proficiency in operating room protocols.
Job Details
- Unit Type: Operating Room (OR)
- Shift Length: 10 hours
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years in relevant service lines
- Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Start Date: 9/21/2026
- Special Requirements: Strong Meditech experience is mandatory
Essential Duties and Skills
The Operating Room RN will perform a variety of surgical procedures, including but not limited to:
- General OR skills
- Appendectomy
- Cholecystectomy
- Colon resection
- Hernia repair (inguinal/umbilical)
- Laparoscopic assisted procedures
- Mastectomy and Thyroidectomy (partial/total)
- Abdominal and Vaginal hysterectomy
- Bilateral tubal ligation
- Dilation & Curettage
- Closed reduction of fractures
- Total joint replacement
- Bunionectomy
- Circumcision
- Cystoscopy
- Transurethral resection of the prostate
- Amputations and management of gunshot/stab wounds
- Colorectal robotic surgery using Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
- Gastric bypass and gastric sleeve procedures
- Laparoscopic assisted cases
- Anterior/Posterior Repair (Colporrhaphy)
- Arthroscopy and open reduction of fractures
Qualifications
- Current, valid Arizona RN license or compact state RN license
- Basic EKG competency preferred
- BSN is preferred but not required
- Candidate must be willing to adhere to a call-off policy and consider non-billable orientation hours
- Must be able to commit to working in a structured, fast-paced environment
