Job Description

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our team. The ideal candidates will utilize the nursing process while collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care for patients. This role involves administering prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, and state laws. Education verification will be required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Documents nursing care according to established standards.
• Develops, initiates, and executes individualized plans of care as prescribed by physicians and hospital policies, including patient and family education.
• Engages in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance.
• Provides clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments in support of the patient’s longitudinal plan of care.
• Employs critical thinking regarding patient safety and experience, appropriately escalating concerns to the right chain of command.

Additional Requirements

This position will require the ability to float to other units as needed, as well as coverage for every other weekend and holiday. The role consists of 12-hour day shifts.
