We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering radiation treatments to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy to patients as per prescribed treatment plans.
• Utilize advanced technology and techniques, including external radiation therapy, IMRT, and IGRT.
• Perform CT simulations and manage electronic medical records specific to radiation oncology.
• Maintain accurate records and verify treatment plans using established protocols.
• Float to other facilities as needed to support overall patient care and departmental needs.
• Participate in weekend and holiday on-call rotations as required.

Qualifications:

• ARRT(R)(T) certification is mandatory.
• Valid Florida state license is required.
• BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross is required.
• Graduation from a School of Radiation Therapy Technology accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEA).
• Experience with radiation oncology specific electronic medical records and record verification is preferred.
• Familiarity with external radiation therapy, IMRT, IGRT, and CT simulation technologies is advantageous.

Work Schedule:

This position involves varying early and late shifts, typically from 7 AM to 3 PM or 8 AM to 4 PM, with block scheduling options available.
