Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) to join our Surgical Services team. The ideal candidate will have experience in trauma and hold certification from either NCCT or NBSTSA.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures.
• Prepare operating rooms for surgery, including checking and assembling necessary instruments and supplies.
• Ensure a sterile environment is maintained throughout surgical procedures.
• Handle and maintain surgical instruments with care, ensuring their cleanliness and functionality.
• Support the surgical team by anticipating needs and responding efficiently during operations.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in surgical technology.

Qualifications

• Must have trauma experience.
• Certification from NCCT or NBSTSA is required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to patient care and safety.

Schedule

This position will require a day shift schedule of four 10-hour workdays, typically from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM.
