Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room team. This position involves collaborating with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition before, during, and after surgery.
• Provide patient education and support to families regarding surgical procedures and recovery.
• Maintain sterile techniques and protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Document and record patients' progress and responses to treatment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Operating Room nursing, with a focus on General Surgery, Plastics, ENT, and robotic surgeries.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and nursing best practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

Schedule

This position requires a schedule of 4 ten-hour shifts, with potential call obligations of 3-4 week nights in a 6-week period, along with one weekend and one holiday during the contract period.
