Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and be ready to provide exceptional care to patients in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
- Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, documenting findings accurately.
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and care options.
Shift Details
This position requires working a night shift of three 12-hour shifts per week, from 19:00 to 07:30.
Patient Ratios
The registered nurse will work with patient ratios ranging from 4 to 6 patients per nurse.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Active ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification is required.
