Pediatric Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a busy unit featuring four trauma rooms. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency care and support to pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the emergency department.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient outcomes.
Possibly float to sister locations within a 12-mile radius as needed.
Participate in holiday scheduling and weekend shifts as required.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an emergency department, with demonstrated experience in pediatric care.
Current certifications in PALS and BLS.
Experience with EPIC charting is preferred.
Availability for minimal to no requested time off (RTO) during the assignment period.

Work Schedule

This position offers a night shift schedule consisting of 4 nine-hour shifts from 21:00 to 06:00.

Contract Length

The assignment is for 13 weeks with the possibility of extension based on performance and departmental needs.
