Job Description

A licensed, registered Radiological Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) performs a variety of routine and specialized CT/X-Ray procedures while adhering to the standards set forth by ARRT and IEMA.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate courteous behavior through polite and respectful communication to all customers, while adhering to established customer service standards.
• Utilize appropriate scanning protocols to effectively demonstrate necessary anatomy and adjust technical factors according to age-specific needs.
• Administer oral and/or IV contrast as required.
• Assist physicians during procedures as needed.
• Complete documentation in accordance with specific guidelines.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure readiness for procedures.
• Adhere to organizational policies and professional standards.
• Comply with Radiation Safety and ALARA Standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
• Current certification in CT by ARRT is required.
• Experience with GE equipment is required.
• Experience in a diverse patient population, including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.
• Evidence of COVID and flu vaccinations is required; declinations will not be accepted.
• Preferred experience with Cerner and Change Healthcare PACS.
• Illinois IEMA license is required (does not need to be active at the time of submission, but must be obtained).
