Job Description

A skilled CT/X-Ray Technologist is needed to provide high-quality imaging services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in both CT and X-Ray procedures, facilitating optimal patient care and diagnostic accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Position patients on the examination table and adjust immobilization devices as necessary to obtain optimal views of the specified body area as requested by the physician.
• Perform all routine diagnostic procedures and ensure completion with a high degree of proficiency.
• Set up and adjust radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment, determining exposure factors such as time and distance.
• Operate film processing equipment and mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in various settings, including operating rooms and patient bedsides.
• Implement radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure for patients and staff.
• Prioritize and organize daily workflow effectively to meet departmental demands.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with patients and team members, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
• Utilize basic computer skills to maintain records and assist in various operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of current experience as a CT Tech in a hospital setting.
• Minimum of 2 years of current experience as an X-Ray Tech in a hospital setting.
• Proficient in Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portables, and OR C-arm procedures.
• Experience working with all age groups.
• New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License, or equivalent state license for CT/X-Ray.
• Previous travel experience is preferred.
• A personal vehicle is required for travel between locations.

Dress Code

The dress code requires hospital blue scrubs (provided) or business casual attire with a lab coat. Personal scrubs should be plain and basic. Closed-toe shoes, such as sneakers or clogs, are mandatory. Hair must be pulled back if longer than shoulder length, and dangling earrings are not permitted.
