Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist with experience in general ultrasound and vascular applications. This position is based in a small hospital-based outpatient department with an attached minor emergency department (ED).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound exams for diagnostic purposes.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate results.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and keep accurate records of procedures performed.
• Provide exceptional patient care, addressing any concerns or discomfort during the imaging process.
• Participate in rotational on-call responsibilities and provide coverage during holidays as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Valid certification in Ultrasound Technology.
• Experience in vascular imaging is required.
• Strong understanding of ultrasound diagnostic techniques and protocols.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including on-call shifts.

Work Schedule

This position is full-time, with shifts from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break.
