Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Emergency Registered Nurse (RN) to join a busy emergency department with a capacity of over 50 beds and 4 specialized trauma rooms. This position is available for an immediate start and offers a 13-week assignment, with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in an emergency setting.
- Remain flexible and float to supporting facilities as necessary, all within a 12-mile radius.
- Participate in holiday scheduling as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an emergency department.
- Experience in Pediatric Emergency Nursing is required.
- Proficiency with EPIC charting is mandatory.
- Current certifications in PALS and BLS are required.
- Minimal to no requests for time off (RTO) should be anticipated.
Schedule
This position requires working a mid-shift with a schedule of 3x12-hour shifts, from 15:00 to 03:00.
