Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Registered Nurse for a general pediatrics unit. This position offers an immediate start for a 13-week assignment, with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule, including weekend shifts, and may be required to float to sister facilities within a 12-mile radius as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in a general pediatrics unit.
• Float to various specialty areas as required, including Cardiac Acute Care Unit (CACU), Trauma Surgical Unit (TSU), Aflac (pediatric oncology), and Combined Intensive Rehabilitation Unit (CIRU).
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Take vital signs, administer medications, and monitor patient conditions effectively.
• Diligently assist with patient assessments and care plans.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.

Qualifications

• Current BLS and PALS certifications are required.
• A minimum of 2 years of recent pediatric nursing experience is mandatory.
• Experience in a pediatric facility is required.
• Ability to float to various specialty areas as needed.

Shift Details

This position requires night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts, running from 19:00 to 07:00.

Additional Information

Candidates must have minimal to no request for time off (RTO) to ensure optimal staffing and patient care continuity during the assignment.
