Job Summary

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) scans and ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures. This role requires adherence to protocols and standards in imaging while collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans as ordered by physicians.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Create clear and accurate images for diagnostic purposes.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Document and report any significant findings or abnormalities.
• Assist in the training and orientation of new staff and students.

Qualifications

• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Valid license or certification in medical imaging (as applicable).
• Strong understanding of CT imaging principles and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment of 36 hours per week, with shifts scheduled from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Additional weekend coverage is required, with shifts on alternating weekends, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
