Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality mammography services, including screenings and diagnostics, while potentially working at multiple locations within the region.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures on patients.
• Conduct bone density exams and assist in biopsy procedures.
• Ensure all equipment is functioning effectively and report any issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Work Schedule

This position generally operates with a schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential adjustments to accommodate additional hours. Candidate flexibility is appreciated.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mammography.
• Current Massachusetts state license as a Mammography Technologist.
• Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA and Certified Mammography Technologist (ARRT).
• Documentation of completing at least 200 mammograms in the last 2 years.
• Continuing Education Units (CEUs) must be up to date.

Travel Requirements

The candidate may be required to travel to multiple locations; however, it is anticipated that the days of working at more than one location will be limited.

Additional Information

Overtime opportunities are readily available. The ideal candidate should have experience with performing biopsies, although this is not a strict requirement.
