Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our home health team in Southern Maryland. This position offers a dynamic work environment catering to various patients in need of home health services.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in their homes.
Manage all discharge cases from hospitals, medical offices, and skilled nursing facilities.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Document patient progress and care provided in accordance with healthcare regulations.
Educate patients and their families on care plans and health management.

Shift Details

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
No weekends or overtime required

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
Prior experience in home health and proficiency with HCHB preferred.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
First-time home health nurses are encouraged to apply.
Ability to accommodate a block schedule is preferred.
Local candidates are welcomed, with a preference for those within the same billing radius.
One request for time off (RTO) will be considered.
