Description

Responsible for operation of the Echocardiography Lab and support of Stress Lab. Utilizes proper sonographic technique in conjunction with departmental protocols to demonstrate pertinent patient anatomy and pathology to assist the physician in interpretation. The technician is responsible for performance of all cardiac and neonate cranial studies and clerical functions associated with preparation of data for physician interpretation and reporting to the medical record.

Education / Experience: High school graduate or equivalent required. Graduate of a School of Diagnostic Ultrasound preferred. Registered ARDMS(RDCS) or CCl(RCS) required.
License / Certification required: Registered ARDMS(RDCS) or CCl(RCS).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Must possess reasoning ability and good independent judgment.
• Must have the ability to work within rigid time constraints.
• Must be aware of patient conditions at all times.
• Must demonstrate effective communication skills.
Baptist Works Job ID #2088. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
