Every 4th weekend required
Job Description: ICU/Critical Care area with high acuity and high census
The Clinical Pharmacist shall be responsible for conducting clinical pharmacy services and ensuring that the pharmacy provides optimal clinical services on a daily basis. The Clinical Pharmacist will work with the Manager, Pharmacy to facilitate the development, implementation, and maintenance of systems that promote desirable patient outcomes through the use of safe, cost-effective drug therapies. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.
Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy required, PharmD degree preferred
• PGY1 residency or 3 or more years of inpatient practice preferred
• Valid and active Alabama pharmacist license required
• Alabama Controlled Substance certification required
• BLS required
• Ability to accurately perform computer order entry duties
• Proficient in needed pharmaceutical calculations and the metric system
• Basic knowledge in pharmacokinetic calculations
• Knowledge of aseptic technique

Baptist Works Job ID #556. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
