- Compensation is customized based on experience, credentials, and travel eligibility and will be discussed prior to district submission.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and comprehensive assessments
- Complete Medicaid billing (if applicable)
- Maintain therapy schedules and service logs
- Participate as a related service provider in IEP meetings
- Develop measurable IEP goals aligned with student needs
- Provide direct therapy services (individual and group)
- Deliver services across speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, and pragmatic communication
- Maintain compliance documentation and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Support AAC implementation and consultation when appropriate
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
- Active North Carolina (NC) Board of Examiners license for Speech-Language Pathology
- NC Department of Public Instruction (DPI) Educator Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required. Clinical internship or practicum experience in a school setting will be considered
- Experience with IEP development and compliance documentation
